Support for Law Students

Law school places unique demands on attention, motivation, emotional regulation, and identity – often all at once. Many law students are capable, driven, and accustomed to succeeding, yet find themselves struggling in ways they didn’t expect.

I provide strengths-based, holistic support for law students navigating the unique pressures of legal education. This work is designed to help you function more sustainably during law school – not just academically, but personally as well.

Through individualized coaching and counseling support, we may focus on areas such as:

  • Executive function challenges under heavy workload and time pressure.

  • Difficulty initiating tasks, sustaining focus, or following through.

  • Burnout, chronic stress, or emotional exhaustion.

  • Managing anxiety around exams, cold calls, or performance expectations.

  • Navigating feedback, criticism, and high-stakes evaluation.

  • Balancing academic demands with personal life and well-being.

  • Understanding and adapting to the culture and expectations of the legal profession.

  • Developing systems and strategies that actually work in real law school conditions.

This is not about pushing yourself harder or becoming more “disciplined.” It’s about understanding how your brain responds to pressure, building realistic supports, and finding ways to move through law school without losing yourself in the process.

If you’re unsure whether coaching or counseling is the right fit, we can talk through that together.
